Who's the band behind the debut Cd?

The band consists of Paul Winn and Simon Fishburn, surrounded by a band for live performances. Paul sings and plays all guitar and piano parts, and Simon Fishburn plays the drums on this Cd. Most of the songs have been written by Paul Winn. Two of the songs on the Cd have been co-written with Marcel Bracks and Jacqui Winn.

When did this band start playing together?

Paul and Simon have been playing in various cover bands for about 7 years. The recording of this Cd about 2 years ago was the beginning of their collaboration.

Where is the band from? 

The band is based in Sydney, Australia. Paul lives in Bondi and Simon lives in Pymble.

Who produced the Cd?

A very talented man called Anton Hagop mixed and produced the Cd at Studios 301 in Sydney. Anton has worked with many other talented artists such as Silverchair, Powderfinger and Will Smith. (well, maybe not Will Smith). 

What Instruments are featured on the Cd?

Most tracks are vocals, acoustic guitar, piano, bass and drums. 4 of the tracks are just vocals and acoustic guitar.

What is the message of the band?

The lyrics of the band are very important and although a few of the songs are simple songs about love, the band strives to write about environmental issues and more importantly, issues of acceptance and equality. The lyrics to "Atlas" are about seeing one another as individuals, rather than belonging to a religion, race or class.
